FAIRFIELD, OH — A Fairfield resident has claimed the top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s Lady Luck 100X scratch-off, securing $40,000 a year for the next 25 years.
Lottery officials said the winner chose the annuity option and, after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28 percent, will receive $28,800 annually.
The winning $20 ticket was sold at Kroger #939, located at 560 Wessel Drive in Fairfield. As of July 24, all top prizes for Lady Luck 100X have been claimed.
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
