BAYSIDE, N.Y. — A lucky New York Lottery player is holding a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 after matching enough numbers during Saturday night’s drawing to land a major cash prize.

Lottery officials announced that a third-prize-winning ticket for the May 16 Powerball drawing was sold at Francis Lewis Service Station, located at 200-01 47 Ave. in Bayside.

The winning ticket is worth $50,000.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with white ball numbers selected from one through 69 and the red Powerball selected separately from one through 26.
