Million dollar scratch-off lands in Westmoreland County as winning ticket sold at local gas station
Middletown, PA — A routine ticket purchase turned into a seven-figure payout after a $1 million scratch-off winner was sold at a Westmoreland County gas station.
The Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed the winning Win Win Win scratch-off ticket was sold at Crabtree Gas & Go (Sunoco), located at 226 Roosevelt Way in Salem Township. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.
The Win Win Win game is a $10 scratch-off that offers top prizes of $1 million. Lottery officials said winning tickets are distributed randomly, and retailers are unaware of winning tickets until prizes are claimed.
The identity of the winner has not been released.
Winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the lottery to begin the claim process. Scratch-off prizes must be claimed within one year of the game’s end-sale date.
