Cumberland man arrested for trespassing near scenic railroad
CUMBERLAND, MD — A man was arrested Wednesday after being found in a restricted area near the city’s scenic railroad while officers were on routine foot patrol.
Police say they observed a man standing in a location clearly marked “No Trespassing” during a midday patrol. He was identified as 28-year-old Nathan Michael Tallman of Cumberland.
Tallman was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. He was later released on a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
No injuries or property damage were reported in the incident.
