COLUMBUS, OH – A man who was standing in front of his home in the front yard at 1978 Joyce Avenue was shot at by a drive-by shooter on Sunday.
Police said a car of unknown make and model traveling southbound on Joyce fire multiple shots at the man, striking him in the leg as he attempted to run into his home.
He is now recovering at Grant Hospital in serious injury where he was treated at the emergency room. The Columbus police were alerted to the incident via their ShotSpotter gunfire notification system.
The patient is now listed in stable condition and has been admitted to the hospital.
