Detectives trace nonfatal shooting to Mountmor Court in West Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A shooting victim showed up at a Baltimore hospital Wednesday night with gunshot wounds, leaving detectives scrambling to piece together what happened and where the gunfire erupted.

According to Baltimore Police, Western District patrol officers responded to an area hospital around 8:19 p.m. after receiving a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

When officers arrived, they found a 34-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators said the victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

As detectives worked to determine where the shooting occurred, the investigation identified the location as the 1400 block of Mountmor Court.

No suspect information was immediately released.

Western District detectives continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
