BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — A Middle River woman faces charges of first-degree murder following the tragic death of her 11-year-old daughter in their home.

On Thursday around noon, Baltimore County police officers responded to a home in the 2100 block of Firethorn Road after receiving reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found the young girl deceased inside the residence.
