Maryland players cash in big as $570K jackpot leads the way

$570K jackpot leads wave of big lottery wins across Maryland

Baltimore, MD — A $570,000 jackpot-winning ticket in Columbia led a surge of lottery payouts across Maryland, marking the largest prize awarded in the state over the past week.

The Multi-Match ticket, sold at a 7-Eleven on Snowden River Parkway for the April 16 drawing, stood as the top win among more than $30.4 million in prizes distributed statewide between April 13 and April 19.

Lottery officials said the Columbia win was the second Multi-Match jackpot claimed this year. Another ticket worth an estimated $1.7 million from a March drawing remains unclaimed.

Additional major wins included a $156,581 FAST PLAY progressive jackpot ticket sold in Hagerstown on April 19, which had not been claimed as of April 20.

Players across the state also scored multiple $50,000 prizes through scratch-off games and Pick 5 drawings in locations including Accokeek, Baltimore, Beltsville, Berlin, and Glen Burnie.

Several other prizes of $10,000 and above were recorded during the week, with 27 tickets reaching that level or higher.

Among scratch-off wins, top prizes included $50,000 tickets sold in Berlin and Glen Burnie, along with multiple $10,000 wins across cities such as Cockeysville, Nottingham, and Chestertown.

Officials said winners have limited timeframes to claim prizes, with draw and FAST PLAY tickets expiring 182 days after issuance.
