From 2 p.m. on Monday to 5 a.m. today, officers responded to 186 crashes and assisted 117 disabled vehicles, alongside answering 650 service calls. Snow emergency plans are currently active in multiple counties, including Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Frederick, Garrett, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, and Washington. The state police urge residents to exercise caution. Those who must travel are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, while others are encouraged to stay home.
