The win was recorded on January 22, and the lucky ticket was validated at the Waterbury claims center. The “100X 2nd Edition” is a popular $20 scratch game offering multiple chances at six-figure prizes, with overall odds that vary by ticket.

The winner’s identity was not immediately released by the Connecticut Lottery, and no further details were provided regarding how the prize will be distributed or if the winner elected a lump sum.
