New Jersey Lottery players score more than $2.9 million in prizes during one week

Fourteen New Jersey Lottery players claimed prizes of at least $10,000 in a single week, including a jackpot worth more than $2.3 million.

TRENTON, N.J. — Fourteen New Jersey Lottery players won prizes of at least $10,000 between June 29 and July 5, led by a Jersey Cash 5 jackpot worth $2,327,955 sold in Essex County.

The largest prize of the week was won on June 29 when a Jersey Cash 5 ticket matched all five numbers to claim the $2,327,955 jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at Kings Food Market, 778 Morris Turnpike, in Short Hills. The retailer also received a bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Other notable prizes included a $250,000 Pick-6 Double Play prize won through Jackpocket on July 2, along with two $50,000 Powerball prizes sold at Fanwood Liquors in Fanwood on July 1 and Boss Bagel Mart in Glassboro on July 4.

Additional winners included:

  • $50,000 Jackpot Millions ticket sold at Blimpie of Trenton in Trenton.
  • $25,000 Crossword Xtreme Scratch-Off sold at Hometown Food Mart in Toms River.
  • $25,000 Crossword Bonanza Scratch-Off sold at EZ Mart LLC in Newark.
  • $20,000 Crossword Scratch-Off sold at Fiji 24 Hours Food Store in Union City.
  • $15,338 Pick-6 prize won through Jackpocket.
  • Four $10,000 prizes sold in Egg Harbor Township, Mantua, Dunellen, Toms River and Linden.

New Jersey Lottery officials said the winning tickets were sold between June 29 and July 5 at retailers across the state and through the Jackpocket courier service.
