McDonald's Debuts Exclusive McNugget® Caviar Just in Time for Valentine's Day – at No Cost to Fans

Nobody Asked For It, But McDonald’s Drops Caviar McNuggets Ahead of Valentine’s Day

TOMS RIVER, NJ – As McDonald’s is raising prices on its once regularly value packed meals, it’s adding a menu item that reflects its new fine-dining like costs.

Caviar Chicken McNuggests.

It’s exactly what absolutely nobody asked for. As New Jerseyans are struggling to pay their bills, even McDonald’s has gotten out of the price range for many families.

But there’s a McTwist. The promotion is free.

McDonald’s is leaning into luxury food culture and limited-edition hype with the launch of its first-ever McNugget Caviar kits, a Valentine’s week promotion pairing its iconic Chicken McNuggets with premium sturgeon caviar at no cost to fans.

Each kit includes everything you need for an upscale yet effortless celebration: : a 1oz tin of mcnugget® caviar, $25 arch card® for plenty of chicken mcnuggets, plus crème fraîche and a mother of pearl caviar spoon to top it all off.

The kits are set to drop online at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, February 10, and will be available exclusively through McNuggetCaviar.com while supplies last. The promotion is not available in McDonald’s restaurants and is positioned as a limited online release timed ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Each McNugget Caviar kit includes a one-ounce tin of Baerii Sturgeon caviar sourced from Paramount Caviar, a $25 McDonald’s Arch Card intended for the purchase of Chicken McNuggets, crème fraîche, and a Mother of Pearl caviar spoon. McDonald’s said the kits are designed to deliver an upscale at-home experience built around one of its most recognizable menu items.

The company said the pairing draws inspiration from fans who already combine McNuggets with caviar, framing the release as a response to customer behavior rather than a traditional menu innovation. McDonald’s partnered with Paramount Caviar to produce the premium caviar used in the kits.

According to the brand, the drop is part of a broader Valentine’s season push centered on limited availability, digital engagement, and social media visibility across Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook. The kits are free to consumers, reinforcing McDonald’s strategy of driving attention through scarcity rather than retail pricing.

McDonald’s said the combination of crispy Chicken McNuggets and salted sturgeon caviar is intended for special occasions, positioning the promotion as a celebratory option for couples, groups, or individuals.
