TOMS RIVER, NJ – An Ocean County man is being held without bail following his arrest on multiple charges stemming from a violent domestic assault incident, according to county inmate records.
Authorities identified the suspect as Wilberth Cardenas-Zorrilla after he was committed to the Ocean County Jail on February 20, 2026, with no projected release date set, jail records show.
According to court filings, Cardenas-Zorrilla faces three serious criminal counts: aggravated assault by strangulation of a domestic violence victim under state statute 2C:12-1B(13), aggravated assault causing bodily injury under 2C:12-1B(7), and making terroristic threats to kill under 2C:12-3B.
