NEW YORK — An off-duty New York City sanitation worker was arrested late Saturday night in Queens on multiple charges related to driving under the influence, authorities said.

Carl Boyce, 50, was taken into custody at approximately 11:40 p.m. within the confines of the NYPD’s 114th Precinct. Police charged him with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired, and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

Details surrounding the arrest were not immediately available, and it was unclear if Boyce had legal representation.

The New York City Sanitation Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
