MARYSVILLE, OH — An Ohio woman defied steep odds to win $50,000 in the Pick 5 lottery game, officials said.
Amy of Marysville matched all five numbers in the March 15 evening drawing, hitting a win with odds of 1 in 100,000.
The winning numbers were 1, 0, 4, 2 and 7.
She purchased the $1 straight bet ticket at MVP Food Mart on State Route 31 in Marysville.
After taxes, the payout comes to $36,625.
