Officers responded to reports of gunfire shortly before 5 p.m. and discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said officers were dispatched to the area at approximately 4:58 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired along the roadway. When they arrived, they located an adult male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Medic 47 personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at 5:07 p.m., authorities said. The man’s identity has not been released pending notification of family members.
