Port Jefferson Station, New York — A TAKE 5 player in Suffolk County won $18,205 in Sunday’s midday drawing with a top-prize ticket sold at a local convenience store, the New York Lottery announced.

The winning ticket for the May 4 TAKE 5 MIDDAY drawing was purchased at Trisul, located at 669 Old Town Road in Port Jefferson Station. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn, securing the top prize for the game’s midday edition.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a field of one through 39. Prizes vary depending on the number of winners and the amount wagered for each draw.

The identity of the winner has not been disclosed. Players have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize through authorized lottery channels.

The sale marks another top-tier win at a Long Island retailer, continuing a pattern of recent lucky hits across New York State.
