Fresh Meadows, NY – A Queens convenience store sold a top-prize winning ticket for the New York Lottery’s TAKE 5 Midday drawing on Monday.

The ticket, worth $18,018, was purchased at Grand Success Trading located at 164-14 69th Avenue in Fresh Meadows.

TAKE 5 players select numbers from 1 through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners have up to one year from the draw date to claim their prizes.

The New York Lottery, which contributed $3.6 billion to support public schools across the state in the last fiscal year, reminds players that help is available for those struggling with problem gambling.
