Three Charged for Multi Ulta Store Robberies in Maryland
**Annapolis, MD -** The Anne Arundel County Police Department announced the arrest of three individuals linked to an organized retail theft group targeting Ulta stores for luxury fragrances. The thefts occurred across various jurisdictions from August to March 2025, with robbers stealing high-end fragrances before police arrived.
In cooperation with several regional police departments, the Anne Arundel County Police identified and dismantled the group responsible. The crime spree caused approximately $190,000 in losses, underscoring the significance of regional collaboration against organized retail crime.
The incidents in Anne Arundel County alone resulted in about $107,000 in damages. Detectives pinpointed several vehicles involved in these thefts and, on March 24, 2025, around 5:00 p.m., secured a suspect vehicle in the Annapolis Mall parking garage leading to the arrests.
Arrested were Damari Cousar, 21, and Rasaan Washington, 28, both from Washington D.C., along with a 17-year-old juvenile. All face various charges, and authorities urge anyone with further information to contact the relevant police departments.

Morristown Man Receives Eight-Year Sentence for Burglary
**MORRISTOWN, NJ** – Tezmar Caldwell, 40, of Morristown, has been sentenced for crimes committed during a burglary on February 11 in Morristown. The sentencing was announced by Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Morristown Police Chief Darnell Richardson.
On March 14, Caldwell was sentenced by the Honorable Stephen J. Taylor to eight years in New Jersey State Prison for second-degree burglary. This sentence is subject to the No Early Release Act, which requires Caldwell to serve 85 percent of his sentence before parole eligibility. Additionally, he received a concurrent five-year sentence for a third-degree terroristic threats charge and six months for a disorderly persons simple assault charge. Upon release, Caldwell will be under parole supervision for three years.
Caldwell was found guilty by a jury on January 13 of burglary and terroristic threat charges. He was also found guilty by the court for simple assault but was acquitted of robbery and theft charges. He has been in custody at the Morris County Correctional Facility pending this sentencing.

**Pittsburgh, PA** – On Wednesday, Pittsburgh Police’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit, assisted by the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, arrested 24-year-old Melik Johnson of Pittsburgh. He was detained on multiple felony warrants, including one related to a firearm robbery on August 7 in the 7500 block of Mulford Street.
Johnson faces charges including Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Possessing Instruments of a Crime. He is also tied to an incident on September 24 in the South Side Flats neighborhood involving a stolen vehicle.
During the September incident, police located the stolen vehicle but Johnson had fled. Officers recovered a firearm from the vehicle, resulting in additional charges for Johnson.
Related to this incident, Johnson is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Fleeing from Police, among others. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail following his arrest.
