ROCHESTER, NY – Early on Thursday, at about 1:55 a.m., Rochester Police officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Cameron St and Myrtle Hill Pk following reports of a shooting.
On arrival, they found a 32-year-old Rochester resident with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
He was subsequently taken to Strong Hospital, with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
Initial investigations indicate the shooting took place at the MLK Jr Memorial Park located at 353 Court St.
Investigations are ongoing, and any individuals with pertinent information are asked to contact the police.
