Shooting leaves two dead in Baltimore

Double homicide rocks quiet Edgecomb Circle neighborhood

Baltimore, MD – A quiet Northern District neighborhood was jolted by gunfire Tuesday morning when officers responding to a shooting call discovered two people dead at the scene, launching a full homicide investigation.

The shooting was reported around 8:48 a.m. in the 2600 block of Edgecomb Circle North. When officers arrived, they found an adult man and an adult woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released as detectives work to notify next of kin and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are canvassing the area for witnesses, surveillance footage, and additional evidence. No suspect information has been released, and the motive remains under investigation.
