Detectives say Bowie man faces stalking and indecent exposure charges after Orchard Center investigation
GAITHERSBURG, MD — A Bowie man has been arrested after investigators say he stalked a woman while she shopped at a Gaithersburg retail center, followed her home and allegedly tried to enter her residence, prompting detectives to warn there could be additional victims.
The Montgomery County Department of Police announced Wednesday that 20-year-old Adrean Walls of Bowie has been charged with stalking, attempted fourth-degree burglary and indecent exposure.
According to detectives, the incident began on Friday, July 10, while the victim was shopping inside Kohl’s in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road at the Orchard Center shopping center.
Investigators allege Walls stalked the woman inside the store while engaging in an act of indecent exposure.

After the victim left the store, police said Walls followed her through the parking lot in his vehicle, nearly striking two other vehicles before continuing to follow her to her home.
According to investigators, Walls then attempted to enter the residence through a window before fleeing after being confronted by one of the victim’s family members who was inside the home.
Detectives identified Walls as the suspect during the investigation.
An arrest warrant was issued on Wednesday, July 16, charging Walls with stalking, attempted fourth-degree burglary and indecent exposure.
Walls was arrested Tuesday, July 21, on the warrant and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond.
Investigators believe there may be additional people who encountered Walls while shopping at the Orchard Center and may have been stalked or followed.
