Side-by-side vehicle and four tires reported stolen in Stafford County theft cases

STAFFORD, VA — Deputies in Stafford County are investigating two separate larceny incidents reported on Monday, including the theft of a side-by-side vehicle from a motorsports business and a tire theft from an apartment complex.

According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, the first incident occurred at Fredericksburg Motor Sports, located at 430 Kings Highway. Deputy C. M. Sterne responded to the business at approximately 11:02 a.m. on January 20, after staff discovered that an unknown individual had stolen a side-by-side vehicle from a secured storage area on the property. Investigators have not yet identified a suspect, and the case remains active.

Later that afternoon, at 1:35 p.m., Deputy I. A. Ramos responded to Lakewood Drive Apartments for a separate larceny complaint. A resident reported that when they last saw their vehicle on January 19, it was in normal condition. By the following morning, January 20, all four tires had been removed and stolen from the vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate both cases and encourages anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
