South Jersey lottery ticket explodes for $953K

Burlington County ticket strikes $953,629 jackpot in Jersey Cash 5 draw

Trenton, NJ — A single ticket sold in Burlington County matched all five numbers in Wednesday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing, securing a $953,629 jackpot and placing a Columbus retailer at the center of the latest New Jersey Lottery win.

The winning numbers drawn were 05, 15, 19, 20, and 27, with a Bullseye number of 19 and an XTRA multiplier of 02. The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Columbus Sports #506, located at 2919 Route 206 South in Columbus. The retailer is set to receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

In addition to the jackpot winner, 58 players matched four of the five numbers along with the Bullseye, each earning $500. Of those winners, 13 opted for the XTRA feature, increasing their prize to $1,000.

Jersey Cash 5 drawings continue to produce multiple prize tiers, with the Bullseye option offering enhanced payouts for players who match specific combinations. The game remains a daily draw offering across New Jersey.

Lottery officials also noted a temporary adjustment to jackpot levels. From April 6 through May 3, starting jackpots for Jersey Cash 5 have been increased to $300,000, doubling the usual base amount of $150,000 during the promotional period.

The Burlington County win now stands as one of the latest jackpot claims recorded during this limited-time increase in starting prize amounts.
