STATEN ISLAND, NY—On Tuesday morning, the New York City Police Department arrested 21-year-old Naftoli Messinger in connection with a hit-and-run incident. The arrest took place at 8:10 AM at 124 Crafton Avenue within the 121 Precinct. Messinger has been charged with leaving the scene of an incident without reporting.

In a related ongoing investigation, authorities are also seeking another individual involved in a separate hit-and-run. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 4, at approximately 9:00 PM, where a 28-year-old male motorcyclist was critically injured. The victim was traveling westbound on Victory Boulevard behind a dark-colored 2010 Toyota Sequoia. The driver of the Sequoia made an un-signaled sharp left turn onto Kell Avenue, colliding with the motorcycle and subsequently running over the victim before fleeing southbound on Kell Avenue.

The victim was transported by EMS to Staten Island University North Campus in critical condition.
