Detectives arrested a 31-year-old man during a statewide initiative targeting intimate partner violence offenders
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Syracuse man was taken into custody as part of a statewide operation focused on reducing intimate partner violence, with detectives adding new charges to a list of existing warrants, police said.
The Syracuse Police Department announced that detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division arrested 31-year-old Lwe Moo on June 4 during the Statewide Targeted Reductions in Intimate Partner Violence (STRIVE) initiative.
According to police, Moo was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.
Detectives also served existing warrants charging Moo with four counts of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and three counts of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.
Following the arrest, Moo was transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Police said he was awaiting arraignment.
The charges are allegations, and Moo is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
