Triple masked suspects spark overnight shooting probe in Southeast DC

Washington, DC — A second overnight shooting in southeast DC drew a police response after three suspects dressed in black were seen fleeing the scene, adding to a string of early morning incidents under investigation.

The Metropolitan Police Department reported that units responded around 12:08 a.m. to the 800 block of Yuma Street, SE, within the 7th District, where a shooting had occurred.

According to the alert, the suspects were described as three males wearing all black clothing. No additional details regarding injuries, victims, or the circumstances surrounding the shooting were immediately available.
