UTICA, NY – A domestic incident on Mohawk Street in Utica led to the arrest of 30-year-old Trevon Lang on multiple charges. The Utica Police Department was dispatched to a residence on the 900 block of Mohawk Street around 8:15 PM last night.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a victim who reported a violent altercation with her boyfriend, Trevon Lang. According to her statement, Lang arrived home and initiated an argument, which escalated when he brandished a knife and threatened her life. The victim detailed that Lang threw her to the ground, choked her, and assaulted her by punching and kicking.

The police were contacted, and upon their arrival, Lang was detained and taken to the Utica Police Department. Following the investigation, Lang faces several charges, including Menacing in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree.

This incident highlights the Utica Police Department’s commitment to addressing domestic violence and ensuring the safety of community members.
