Woman Stabbed to Death, Teen Injured During Attack Inside Brooklyn Home

BROOKLYN, NY — A 47-year-old woman was fatally stabbed, and a 15-year-old boy was injured Sunday night inside a home on East 81st Street in Brooklyn, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 9:28 p.m. and arrived at 942 East 81st Street, where they found Antoinette Stewart-Gordon with stab wounds to her neck and abdomen. A teenage boy at the scene also sustained a laceration to his hand.

Both victims were transported by EMS to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center. Stewart-Gordon was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the boy was treated and remains in stable condition.

Authorities have not yet made any arrests and have not released additional details about the circumstances leading to the attack.

The investigation is ongoing as police continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
