ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany Police Department confirmed a shooting incident on Friday morning near Belvidere Avenue and Eileen Street.
A 19-year-old individual sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder during the incident.
First responders treated the victim at the scene, and he was later transferred to the Albany Medical Center Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Investigators believe this shooting is an isolated event.
The investigation is still underway, and the Albany Police Department asked anyone with details about the case to contact their Detective Division at (518) 462-8039.
