7 million jackpot lottery ticket sold at Pennsylvania Sheetz

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a ticket worth more than $2.7 million after matching all five numbers in the July 11 Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, lottery officials announced Monday.

The winning ticket, worth $2,774,353 before taxes, was sold at Sheetz, located at 5346 Greenvillage Road in Chambersburg. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The winning numbers drawn were 11, 13, 19, 31, and 41. This top prize is one of the largest Cash 5 with Quick Cash payouts in recent memory. The winner’s identity will remain unknown until the prize is officially claimed and validated.

The drawing also produced more than 47,800 additional winning tickets for smaller prizes, officials said.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim Cash 5 prizes. Quick Cash prizes, available instantly at the time of ticket purchase, must also be claimed within a year. The Pennsylvania Lottery advises all players to check their tickets and follow up with a Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for prize claim instructions.

The win comes during National Lottery Week, a continent-wide celebration of the positive impact lotteries have on communities. In Pennsylvania, the Lottery has contributed billions in support for older residents since its founding in 1971.
