Occupants Safe After Car Found Submerged at Boat Ramp

TOMS RIVER-According to the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company, the occupants of a car found submerged at a Silverton boat ramp were found safely last week.

“The fire company along with Silverton EMS and Toms River Police Department were dispatched to a car submerged in the tide creek at the Alabama Ave Boat Ramp. The caller was a passing resident saw something and called 911. Upon arrival the vehicle was deemed safe and unoccupied with all occupants accounted for and not injured,” the department said.
