Shot Spotter Alerts Baltimore Police to 42 Year-Old Man Shot in the Thigh

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A Shot Spotter alert brought the attention of Baltimore Police Department’s Central District. When the police arrived, they found a 42 year-old man shot in the thigh.

According to officials, “On March 8, 2022, at approximately 1:59 p.m., Central District patrol officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Dolphin Street to investigate a Shot Spotter alert for gunfire in the area. When officers arrived at the location they canvassed the area and located a 42-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh. The victim was transported to an area hospital by ambulance. Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators , at 410-396-2411.”
