What Are Those Loud Booms in Montgomery County? Bomb Squad Training

POOLESVILLE, MD – If you hear loud booms today or notice your window sills rattling, it’s because the Montgomery County Bomb Squad will be conducting explosives training at the Outdoor Shooting Range off of Elmer School Road in Poolesville, today, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents in the Poolesville and Dickerson area may hear louder than usual “booms” throughout the day, however there is no need for alarm.
