BUFFALO, NY – An 18-year-old Buffalo woman was arraigned on felony violent murder for a crime Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn said she committed two years ago when she was 16.

The name of the suspect was not released due to being a juvenile at the time of the offense.

“It is alleged that shortly after midnight on February 16, 2020, the adolescent offender, with the intent to cause the death of another person, fired multiple shots from an illegal gun into an occupied vehicle on Stratford Road in the City of Buffalo. The adolescent offender was 16-years-old at the time of the alleged crime,” D.A. Flynn said. “Two people were injured by gunfire. The victims were driven to Buffalo General Hospital in a private vehicle before being transported by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for the injuries.”
