D.C. Police Looking For Suspect Who Assaulted Employee And Attempted to Rob Store

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery which took place on Sunday, May 22nd. This incident happened on the 4100 Block of Alabama Avenue, in Northwest, D.C.

According to detectives, “At approximately 8:12 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect assaulted an employee and demanded money from the register. The suspect then fled the scene. Nothing was obtained.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
