Three Double Shootings In Less Than 30 Minutes In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating three separate double shootings that took place Friday night within 30 minutes.

The first shooting took place on the 4800 block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast, D.C. at approximately 8:57pm. A man and a woman were both shot, and at least one is in critical condition.

The next shooting took place at approximately 9:15 at the 100 Block of Darrington Street in Southwest, D.C.. Two adult men were shot and both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The third shooting took place at around 9:20pm on the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue in Northeast, D.C. Two adult men were shot and both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The Metro PD is investigating this shootings and can not determine at this time if the shootings are related.
