New Jersey Cops Pay it Forward, Buying New Bike for Man Struck by Car

by Charlie Dwyer

PEMBERTON, NJ – Police officers in Pemberton and the Pemberton PBA paid it forward this week, helping out a man who lost his bike in a crash last week.

“After an incident last week a member of our local community was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Pemberton Borough,” the police union said. “His bicycle was destroyed so the officers of Pemberton Borough Police Department went to return his damaged bicycle and purchased a new one to replace it. We are grateful our new friend is making a fast recovery. We hope he enjoys his new bicycle so he could get back to riding as soon as he makes a full recovery. Thank you to everyone involved to make this possible.”
