PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a carjacking that occurred on August 7th, 2022, in West Philadelphia. Around 6:00 AM, a man was sitting in his parked car along the 600 block of South 62nd Street when two males approached, pulled him out of the vehicle, and pointed a gun at him. The offenders got in the victim’s car and sped off, traveling southbound on 62nd Street.
