Police seeking suspect who repeatedly stabbed woman in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – A 39-year-old woman was stabbed inside a downtown Brooklyn business on Tuesday, and police are seeking Rakien Figueroa as the suspect in the attack. Figueroa, now a fugitive, forced his way into the woman’s apartment by breaking the door. Adams used a chair to force his way into the business.

Once inside the 345 Adams Street business, Figueroa targeted the woman and stabbed her repeatedly, causing multiple stab wounds.

She was transported to the hospital and treated for multiple lacerations.
