GLEN BURNIE, MD – A report of a man with a gun led police in Glen Burnie to a suspect armed and loaded with bags of marijuana for resale.

On Tuesday, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a subject with a gun in the 200 block of Woodhill Drive in Glen Burnie.

“As officers converged on the area, they observed a vehicle matching the description provided by the caller,” the Anne Arundel County Police Department said in a statement. “Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of Aquahart Road and made contact with the driver.”

Police searched the vehicle and located a loaded semi-automatic handgun, a digital scale, several bags of suspected marijuana, a bag of suspected marijuana edibles, and pills of suspected MDMA.

29-year-old Chaudhry Zain Mushtaq was arrested and charged.
