Queens murder suspect arrested for death of 25-year-old Brooklyn man

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department has announced the arrest of 25-year-old Queens man Semair Taylor for the murder of Michael Izquierdo, 25, of Brooklyn.

Izquierdo was found by police, stabbed inside his SUV on Woodhaven Boulevard near Atlantic Avenue in Queens on February 27.

Police responded to the scene after the report of a man being assaulted via a 911 call at around 10 pm.

The victim had suffered multiple stab wounds on his torso and was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Taylor was charged with murder, three counts of robbery, three counts of assault, and harassment.
