GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Wednesday, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to an attempted robbery that had just occurred at the Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie.
According to the victim, two juvenile male suspects approached him in the parking lot, demanded property, and indicated that they had handguns. The victim told the suspects that he didn’t have anything on him and began walking towards the mall entrance.
As the victim neared the entrance, he encountered his mother, and both suspects fled the scene.
With the assistance of the mall security team, officers were able to locate and apprehend both suspects without incident. During their investigation, officers discovered that neither suspect was armed, nor did they obtain any property from the victim.
Both suspects, aged 13 and from Brooklyn and Glen Burnie, MD, respectively, were arrested and charged accordingly.
