York County Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Scrap Theft Suspects

YORK, PA – York County Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two men wanted for questioning in connection with scrap thefts from Thornton Auto Pre-Owned, located on Glen Dr. The incidents occurred on April 2, 2023, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, at 9:30 a.m.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspects and their vehicle, described as a black or dark-colored, late 1990s-early 2000s Dodge Dakota crew cab pickup truck. The two men are believed to have been involved in both incidents.

York County Regional Police are urging anyone with information about the suspects, the vehicle, or the incidents to contact them at 717-741-1259 Ext. 127. Tips can also be submitted on their website. Individuals providing information may remain anonymous.
