Police seeking to identify suspects wanted in Bronx shooting

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department) is seeking the public’s help in identifying two individuals involved in an assault and shooting incident that occurred in the Bronx on April 14.

The 21-year-old male victim was shot in the back in front of 1406 Merriam Avenue around 1:40 PM. Witnesses described the suspects as two males wearing dark clothing and hoodies.

The suspects, who fled on foot heading east on Merriam Avenue, remain unidentified.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
