Riverside High School Teacher’s Aide Charged with Sexual Assault

by Charlie Dwyer

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ – A Riverside High School teacher’s aide, Michelle Jacoby, 27, was recently charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault (First Degree) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Second Degree).

The charges came after a student disclosed the relationship to another teacher.

The alleged sexual relationship reportedly involved multiple encounters over a two-year period, beginning when the student was a freshman. Nearly all of the encounters are said to have occurred in Jacoby’s home.

Riverside Superintendent Michael Adams confirmed Jacoby’s suspension and emphasized the school’s commitment to student safety and cooperation with authorities.
