Two Teens Arrested for Armed Carjacking in Oxon Hill

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – Two male teenagers, aged 15 and 17, from Washington, DC, have been charged with armed carjacking by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Carjacking Interdiction Unit. The incident took place in the 1300 block of Iverson Street in Oxon Hill on Thursday.

The victim, an adult female, reported that the two suspects had demanded her SUV at gunpoint. The carjacked vehicle was located half an hour later near Naylor Road and the Suitland Parkway.

The two suspects were apprehended after a chase ended near Forestville Road. The 15-year-old is being held at a juvenile detention center, while the 17-year-old is in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
