Southern Maryland Bride-to-Be Wins $100K

BALTIMORE, MD- Luck bestowed a special wedding gift upon a bride-to-be from Southern Maryland when she stopped by a local store to pick up snacks for a cozy movie night with her future spouse.

Known by the nickname “Locke & Key,” the Maryland Lottery enthusiast made a routine visit to Dash In #099 in Leonardtown to purchase snacks. Along with her snacks, “Locke & Key” also bought her usual $20 worth of Lottery games. While none of her scratch-off tickets turned out to be winners, it was the last game, a $10 FAST PLAY Winfall Doubler ticket, that brought about a life-changing moment.

As soon as she realized that she had won the game’s $100,000 top prize, the lucky player exclaimed, “I was ecstatic!” Overwhelmed by her good fortune, she sat in her car, staring at the winning ticket in disbelief.

While she plans to save the majority of the prize and invest it wisely, she can now afford to have a memorable wedding celebration and enjoy a well-deserved honeymoon. Additionally, she intends to spoil her beloved dog with an abundance of toys and treats.

The fortuitous FAST PLAY Winfall Doubler ticket was purchased at Dash In #099, situated at 26065 Point Lookout Road in St. Mary’s County. As a token of appreciation for selling the $100,000 top-prize-winning ticket, the store will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
