Atlantic City Shooting Investigation Leads to Multiple Arrests

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department recently announced the arrest of three individuals following an investigation into a shooting on April 30.

The suspects include Jeffery Luckett, who had driven himself to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, Jayce Thomas, identified as a person of interest, and Terika Timberlake.

In the course of the investigation, a handgun was found in Luckett’s car, and another, reported stolen from Louisiana in 2016, was found with Timberlake. The incident, which occurred on South Bellevue Avenue, led to charges against Luckett, Thomas, and Timberlake, who are all currently in custody.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office assisted the Atlantic City Police Department in this investigation.
