Suspects identified in Mott Haven shooting that sent one to hospital

NEW YORK, NY – Gunshots rang out once again in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx last Friday night and now, police have released a photo of the alleged gunmen.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying individuals involved in an assault that took place in the 40th Precinct. The incident occurred on Friday, June 9, at approximately 8:08 PM in the vicinity of 139th Street and Alexander Avenue.

According to the police report, two unidentified individuals approached the area mentioned above.

One of the individuals brandished a firearm and proceeded to fire multiple shots in the direction of a group of people.

As a result, a 19-year-old male victim was struck in the rear right shoulder. The victim was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. The suspects fled the scene, heading westbound on 140th Street.
